I’m a very dedicated & pragmatic professional, excellent communicator and motivator of people, with a broad skill set. I’ve substantially influenced and improved the HS&E performance and cultures of organisations with which I’ve worked, including the successful implementation of OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 in over 80 organisations. I have over 28 years full time HS&E experience, and have successfully operated the business of WG Safety & Environmental since 2004. I achieved Registered Safety Practitioner status in 1997, Fellowship of IOSH in 1998, IEMA Principal Environmental Auditor in 1999 and triple Chartered status with the RSC, IOSH and IEMA by 2005. I’m also an OSHCR Registered Consultant. I have a great team of professionals who give more than they need to, I’m so proud of them, and it really is a pleasure to work alongside them.

Dave is a dedicated health, safety and environmental professional with over 17 years experience of working in all areas of health, safety and environmental management, regulation and consulting, including health and safety risk assessments, waste management, environmental crime, acoustics & noise control, health, safety and environmental auditing, IPPC permitting, local air quality management and industrial, commercial and domestic nuisance. Dave has successfully completed the Post-Graduate Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control achieving Associate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA), he has also completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate and holds Technical Membership of the Institute of Safety and Health. Bob has been a specialist Associate since October 2016, completing fire risk assessments for major clients in the Warehousing & Distribution, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Engineering and Automotive sectors. He is a graduate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers.

Gary originally had an industrial background in paint manufacturing for Croda Chemicals, before joining West Midlands Fire Service in 1979. He served over 30 years with West Midlands Fire Service in his roles as Fire-fighter, Crew Commander, Watch Commander, Health and Safety Officer and Fire Safety Enforcement Officer.

Gary has been a specialist Associate since October 2012, completing fire and DSEAR risk assessments of paint processes, battery charging facilities, wood dust processes, aerosol storage, industrial gas storage and LPG installations for major clients in the Warehousing & Distribution, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Motor-Vehicle Repair, Engineering and Plastics sectors. He has worked alongside the Director of Occupational Hygiene, Safety & Environmental Services and under his direct supervision for DSEAR-related work for over two years.

Danielle joined us on 1 November as our full-time Business Administrator. She has a BA (Hons) in Deaf Studies and Linguistics. Danielle is responsible for the smooth handling of front of house customer enquiries, managing our office administration, purchasing, invoicing and accounting. Danielle also provides sub-contract office administration support for small to medium-sized companies, and is undergoing training to become competent in accounting and health surveillance techniques for audiometric & lung function testing.
